The activity was conducted as a part of a math project for term II. The chapter selected for project based learning was surface areas and volumes. Students were given work cards where the details of the project were mentioned in detail. Students work based on the information given in the work card. Students conducted a water audit and wrote a report to suggest the measures to save water. Students explored the study of applications of formulae in the form of collage. One group of students did research on the historical monuments and studied the applications of surface areas and volumes to find the area/volume related to the monument. The activities were presented as a group and peer assessment was conducted during presentations to exchange the learning effectively.
